SHOCKING statistic: It's important to note that one in 28 school age children in the U.S. has an incarcerated parent and one in nine for black children.  This innovative program is what one publicly and privately funded institution os doing to bridge the gap between a child outside and a parent within the penal system....   While fighting against the profit driven prison system is a must, we also need to bridge the gap beteen a child and a parent incarcerated
