OLIVER SACKS my neighbor , our resident genius

One less genius living around the corner from me... last seen stopping by John Cameron Mitchel's Mattachine night at Julius' Bar at 10th st and Waverly Place in the  vanishing  Greenwich Village honoring Oliver Sacks ... unexpectedly he dropped by and thrilled the usually non=plussed Mr. Hedwig. Oliver was a nice and brilliant gay man ........ He told me once he thought Robin WIlliams did a pretty good job of playing him but if he could have brought back Marlon Brando from the WILD ONES period ...that he would have prefered
