Pound (6 months ago --- way weirder now)

The frank, raw, graphic, erotic charisma of Marga Gomez in POUND at Dixon creates a safety zone as she under the skilled direction of David Schweizer takes the audience on a luscious flashback to a lesbian's search for identify and mentoring in a collection of first person memories of seeing films with lesbian characters or subtext. It is a journey that many make searching in popular culture the question: who am I.?..Be it one of race or gender or sexual orientation. The fact that Gomez is one of the funnest, boldest women alive makes POUND AT DIXON PLACE a must see production. .Also if you ever wondered how lesbians have sex you will come out educated .Flle under butch with a heart of gold. Two more performances next Friday and Sat...book ahead dixonplace.org as the show after NY Times review I was at , was sold out. Dress appropriately ..I felt the majority of the audience were wet....I don't think it was because of the humidity in the air condition space.

note: this video is a work in progress video.. the show at  Dixon Place is a lock.  GO!
